ISA Duo Data synchronization serviceISA Duo cluster allows two computers running Windows NT or Windows 2000 Server to share TCP/UDP traffic loads by simply managing them as if it were a single system. By combining the resources of two computers into a single cluster network, ISA Duo cluster's Data Synchronization feature will improve your manageability through its user friendly interface. File synchronizationFile Synchronization feature is applied when a service needs to have its data modified, changes are performed only on the primary server.. The client will only have to specify in the interface the service name and the root drive for the Primary and Secondary servers. Having submitted the following information, the Data Synchronization feature will enable the modified data to automatically be transferred to the secondary server. Duplicating data to the secondary server for load balancing purposes provides hassle free configuration to the whole network. This diagram illustrates an administrator adding new data, the new: index.htm page to the primary server. With the data synchronization feature, the administrator will only need to add this new data into the primary server and the primary server will automatically transfer the new data to the secondary server. |
